Miss Naziya visited the studio on day 14.  We had a splendid time capturing her precious little features.  I think she looks just stunning in this dusty purple set up!  She was a trooper and showed no interest in what I was doing.  All she was concerned about was her little nap.  I am just in love with all her squishiness and little frown forehead wrinkles!!

With your simply newborn session, you will have the option of 2 prop set ups (like the ones pictured) or you may opt for one prop set up and one bean bag set up.  I will cover the bean bag set in a later blog post.  In your photo set, you will receive your chosen images along with the black and white edits of those images chosen by you.  Of course if you wish to purchase above what your package includes, those images are always available to purchase al la’ carte.

A little bit about my newborn session and style:   I shoot with mostly organic materials.  I like to incorporate vintage items whenever I can.  Buckets, chairs, baskets, boxes, drawers… all are my favorites.  I like textures, I layer and layer them.  I tend to shoot mostly swaddled little ones, however I do use half swaddles often to show off the little toes and feet.  I like the look of warm fuzzy babies, this is just the style I like to shoot.  I will never force your little one to get a pose, they do get upset and let me know they are not happy with me moving them all the time… this part is normal.  ALL items are provided for you.  I have an entire wardrobe of head bands, bonnets, wraps, blankets, wool pieces, quilt pieces, props and stuffies.  IF you would like to incorporate something special please let me know ahead of time.  Other than that, just sit and relax, it is all taken care of for you.
